IDEAS Africa is a Senegal-based student exchange program offering semester and summer programs in Senegal and Uganda grounded in decolonial approaches to knowledge, culture, and learning. Students live with host families, study alongside local scholars and artists, and engage directly with the intellectual, linguistic, and social worlds of contemporary Africa. Africa is not simply a location—it is the classroom, serving as the primary site for immersive, reciprocal education that challenges extractive models of international study.
